SPECIFICATIONS ON THE PVC SCREENING FABRIC
- Composition of fabric (Fawn; Oats; Meusli): 35% polyester, 65% PVC (Vinyl-coated polyester woven)
- Composition of fabric (colors not listed above): 27% polyester, 73% PVC (Vinyl-coated polyester woven)
- Openness factor: 5%
- Light blocking effect: ±95%
- Flammability: Tests revealed that the fabric falls well within the limits of flammability or flame resistance as it complies with Building Code of Australia requirements for Class 2 to 9 (a) buildings. It was tested to AS 1530 Part III. This flammability specification refers to colors snowfall; white/cream; white/beige; white/grey and black ONLY.
- Sun resistance: According to the technical department at the company that supplies the fabric, there proved to be no fading even under harsh conditions. Tests have been conducted over a period of time against fading which revealed colorfastness.
- Tearing/breaking strength: Unless a knife or a pair of scissors is used or the fabric is abused, tearing will not occur.
- Cleaning method: Dust fabric regularly using a soft duster or soft cloth. You can also use a damp sponge to wipe the fabric and then dry it with a clean cloth. Please do not use any abrasive products or solvents / industrial-based cleaners. The fabric should not be rolled up while it is still damp.
- Greenguard Gold accredited: This means that this fabric is ideal for use in sensitive areas eg schools, old age facilities, hospitals, etc (tested against California Section 01359 for low chemical emissions [VOCs]). This Greenguard accreditation refers to colors snowfall; white/cream; white/beige; white/grey and black ONLY.
